Find The Courage®, a 501(c)(3) organization would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the organizations and individuals who have generously supported Find The Courage. We have been able to provide our programming in 2014 – 2015 for free, or at a reduced cost, thanks to the initial donations from Ultimate Events and Sports Management and Chatham Athletics Booster Club (Chatham, NJ) as well as new donations from many generous INDIVIDUAL donors. Thank you – your support helps us get our FTC Program into communities!
Thank you to our Donors:
Ultimate Events and Sports Management
Ultimate Events and Sports Management created a tournament called Project 120, which is a 120 team lacrosse tournament in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Each year during this fantastic tournament, Ultimate Events donates a direct percentage of team’s registration fees towards a “project” that is benefiting the community. In 2013 they were gracious enough to choose Find The Courage. Find The Courage was thrilled to be a part of this event in June of 2013 and was the recipient of a very generous donation. While attending the tournament Find The Courage held leadership talks over the course of three days to youth athletes and teams. You can check out the article to learn more.
Chatham Athletics Booster Club
Find the Courage was incredibly fortunate to be selected as the youth-oriented organization to benefit from the annual charitable contribution offered by the Chatham Athletics Booster Club (Chatham, New Jersey) through the ticket, program and concession sales gained during the school’s Cougar Classic basketball tournament held during winter vacation 2012-2013. In addition to having the great opportunity to be the recipient of their contribution, Find The Courage organized its first ever leadership clinic with youth in the community. Here is the video.
Grants in the Community:
Schools in the community have also received grants to bring Find The Courage into their school system and community. Thanks to Hanover Norwich Friends Group (Norwich, VT) the Find The Courage pilot program was brought to Hanover High School during the 2012-2013 school year. Here is a video of some of the program in action.
Thanks to Bridges to Prevention Find The Courage will be running a fall workshop with Hanover, New Hampshire high school peer leaders and captains this fall. In addition, Find The Courage will be working towards a community event in 2014.
